I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for JOHNSON's Baby. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating. This year Mother's Day was really special, I got to hang out with my family and do something nice for my mom. My mom worked the entire Mother's Day Eve by cooking and preparing a delicious meal for everyone who came to celebrate with us. The Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) recently released the results of a study that highlighted some extremely interesting facts about Hispanic mothers and their point of view of their finances. Even affluent mothers ($100,000+ per year) that work extremely hard to balance their families finances and all of their other household responsibilities sometimes find themselves seeking help and not knowing where to turn. A few months ago I thought the holiday season was the most stressful time of the year--but I was horribly wrong. The not-so-subtle reminder hit me smack in the face when I almost threw away a binder full of important documents while cleaning my house and preparing to get our taxes filed earlier this month. You might be the same way: when the sun comes out and the days start warming up I feel like being a busy body around the house.
