We have a very unique palette in our house, we go from asian inspired dishes to my mother-in-laws delicious Peruvian cuisine. It doesn’t matter what type of food we are cooking, bouillon has always been a staple. We use it in everything from soups to rice dishes, and believe me when I say we always have a pretty good stock pile in our pantry–we hate nothing more than preparing to make dinner and finding out we’re all out of bouillon. Especially when I want to make Egg Drop Soup!

Mazola Sobrecitos

Mazola® Sobrecitos™ is different from the original cubes, though, they dissolve instantly but keep the same great taste. Talk about making our lives easier in the kitchen! Mazola® Sobrecitos™ bouillon also features all-natural sea salt, which is less processed than table salt. Knowing that sea salt is used inspired me to make Chicken Egg Drop Soup:

This hearty Chicken Egg Drop Soup will get you through winter!
  • 1 Large Chicken Breast, cut into strips.
  • 4 Cups Water
  • 2 Mazola Chicken Bouillon Packets
  • 1/2 tsp Soy Sauce
  • Dash of Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 Eggs
  1. Bring water, chicken, and bouillon to a boil.
  2. Remove chicken once cooked through, cut into bite-sized chunks. Add back into soup.
  3. Add remaining ingredients except the eggs.
  4. In a bowl, lightly whisk eggs.
  5. Pour eggs through a fork into the boiling soup.
  6. Boil for 3 minutes
  7. Enjoy!

The Chicken Egg Drop Soup is a classic, and it is super simple to make…you no longer have to go to a Chinese restaurant for delicious soup! You can thank me later. 🙂

  1. I’d walk up and down the grocery aisles and buy things I’d never try if I had to pay for them myself! I’d start with honey roasted peanuts!
