Today’s post is sponsored by Daisy Brand, but my love for their Daisy Cottage Cheese is all my own!

Growing up, Cottage Cheese was always one of the snacks I would have at my Grandma’s house.

A lot of people find it weird that I love it so much, but I can’t help it. I was raised on Daisy Brand Cottage Cheese.

Daisy Brand Cottage Cheese

We would always use multiple cottage cheese pairings, but one has always stuck with me throughout the years.

Peaches.

One thing my Grandma always had was frozen peaches. I’m not talking store-bought peaches, either. Peaches she picked from her very own tree, peeled & sliced, then froze.

I loved it because peaches are my favorite, and whenever I craved them she would bring some out to thaw.

I would always put them on my Cottage Cheese.

I still do!

There is absolutely nothing more delicious than Daisy difference cottage cheese topped with peaches.

Peaches & Healthy Cottage Cheese

This isn’t technically a ‘recipe’ since it is so easy, and doesn’t require any skill, but I thought I’d share my process with you anyway.

Daisy Brand Cottage Cheese

I always start with 1/2 cup of cottage cheese in my favorite snack bowl, which is actually a ramekin.

I pour about two Tablespoons of peach juice onto the cottage cheese (if there is any) and then top with two or three peach slices.

From there I add just a pinch of my favorite spice to use on this cottage cheese pairing:   Parsley Flakes.

Don’t ask me why or how this came to be, because I honestly do not remember, but the aroma and subtle taste change is absolutely delicious.

Daisy Difference

There are a bunch of cottage cheese brands floating around out there.

None of them compare to Daisy, and here’s why:

  • Daisy Original Cottage Cheese only contains 3 ingredients (cultured skim milk, cream, salt) and nothing else. There’s no surprises with Daisy.
  • Daisy is a family owned, 4th generation dairy company. They focus on high quality, limited ingredient dairy products.

Nothing makes me more confident in a brand than transparency and quality ingredients.

I’ve been on a mission to stay healthy for a long time.

I’ve had my fair share of slip-ups, but in the end I’m always motivated and ready to do my very best.

I am glad that I was raised on such amazing products, like cottage cheese, that I can use to help keep me on track when I’m craving a snack.

  1. So I tried Daisy for the first time at a BlogHer conference a few years back and I was BLOWN AWAY by how much better it is than any other cottage cheese I’ve ever tried. I’ve NEVER bought another brand since. I love my Daisy.

  2. My grandparents ALWAYS had cottage cheese in their house, too! My friends think I am so weird for enjoy it, but I do! 🙂 I haven’t tried the Daisy brand, but I’ll pick some up next time I’m at the grocery store.

  3. I grew up on cottage cheese too. My favorite is pineapple with pineapple juice, pears or peaches. People always thought I was strange bringing it to school lunch. I’ve never had it with parsley, but it sounds good.

  4. I’m always on the lookout for healthy snacks for my family. The cottage cheese & peaches are just the right amount of sweet, without serving an impeding sugar crash. I need to pick up some Daisy Cottage Cheese this weekend.

  5. I haven’t tried this one yet. I do like cottage cheese especially with pineapples, I haven’t had it in a long while. After reading your post and Liz’s comment I may have to try this one out.

  6. Cottage cheese is definitely a Summer/Fall staple in our home. Yes, we love them with fresh peaches in season… but one pairing my husband taught me was fresh (just picked and vine ripened) tomatoes with cottage cheese. Oh my! The acidic tomato and that creamy cottage cheese is just divine. LOVE it.

  7. I love Daisy cottage cheese and their sour cream. I haven’t had any in a while. Eating the cottage cheese with peaches is my favorite way to enjoy it. I will have to get some on my next shopping trip.

  8. This actually sounds really good! We try to buy organic dairy but if it’s not available, Daisy is one of the brands I will buy. We frequently buy their sour cream. I’ve never tried peaches on my cottage cheese but you definitely have me intrigued.
