I received a Nail Ritz Kit to facilitate this review, all opinions are my own.

I am a total nail polish junkie, I have so many colors in varying shades. I’m convinced I’ll never be satisfied with my collection of colors for my nails. If you look through my instagram feed, you’ll see my love for nail polish!

One thing that has been missing from my collection is a set of matte colors, I am hopelessly drawn to the shiny colors when I’m shopping in person.

I picked out the Nail Ritz Matte Kit (ARV $29.95) for this review, and I have to say I adore the colors.

The kit includes a nice range of shades, including a white which is so difficult to find.

The connector rings are something spectacular if you ask me, they make it easy to combine favorite color combinations and provide an effective way of storing them in an organized fashion.

In the past, I’ve tried some lower end nail art pens and they were horrible. They dried up almost instantly and the flow of polish was horrible. I’m happy to report this was not an issue with Nail Ritz.

The ease of use was refreshing, that is the best way I can describe it.

Using them is simple, screw off the lid to paint your nails, and pop off the cap for nail art.

The polish has a nice consistency and covers extremely well.

I’ve never been a great nail artist, so when the time comes to show off my creation no laughing, okay?

I played around with the control of the art pen portion on a piece of paper, it was easier than I had imagined.

As a side note, I was totally in control until I started my nail masterpiece, at which time my hands started shaking uncontrollably. It might have had something to do with all the coffee I drank–but oh well.

In the spirit of Christmas, I decided to paint a wreath on my white nail. I used the green pen to create the wreath, and the red to create ‘cranberries’, although I cannot say the proportions are accurate.

My shaking hands caused things to not be entirely symmetrical, but I like my flawed piece of work.

Remember, I’m in no way a professional, just a hobbyist.

The opportunities are endless, be sure to try them out for yourself if you are like me…I’m sure I’ll get better with more practice.
