This post is brought to you by Hampton Creek. All opinions are my own.

When the holidays roll around I start wanting to bake. The problem here is I’m always munching on everything. It doesn’t matter what it is. I enjoy grazing when I’m baking.

There are only two things I enjoy more: 1) baking with my mom, and 2) eating the goodies my mom bakes. I think I’m a pretty good baker, but I am nowhere near my mom’s level.

You may be asking me what is the biggest culprit, and what I’m most tempted by.

That would be cookie dough.

I’ve been told my entire life that it is not safe to eat raw cookie dough. It should be illegal for cookie dough to be dangerous to eat raw, it is so delicious I can hardly help myself. When I’m adding a new batch to be put in the oven I always take a nibble. Without fail.

I’ve never gotten sick from it, but I also haven’t let my kids try it.

Now they have though, thanks to Hampton Creek’s Just Cookie Dough.

Not only is it safe to eat raw (which is barely scratching the surface of why this is the best cookie dough ever) but can be baked just like any other kind of cookie dough. But these cookies are so much better for a variety of reasons.

Let’s start with:

  • They taste better.
  • Affordable. Especially in comparison with other all-natural, sustainable, allergy friendly cookie products.
  • Cholesterol-free.
  • No partially hydrogenated oils.
  • An average of 20% less sodium.
  • All natural flavors, nothing artificial.
  • Less water, less carbon, animal welfare benefits.
  • Introduce people with egg allergies and sensitivities (that’s 33 million Americans!) to the joys of great tasting cookies.

I have to admit that I ate quite a bit of it straight from the jar. It was delicious and tasted identical, if not better, than the traditional cookie dough that I’m used to.

I’m definitely a fan, as are my children.

White Chocolate Cookie Dough Fudge Recipe

I wanted to try it inside my favorite thing to make this time of year…fudge.

I wanted the flavor of the cookie dough to pop, so dark/milk chocolate fudge was out. White chocolate for the win.

Ingredients:

  • parchment paper
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 5 oz. Evaporated Milk
  • 12 oz. white chocolate morsels
  • 1 (7 oz.) jar Puffed Marshmallow Creme
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup Just Cookie Dough, rolled into bite-sized balls

So I rolled them up into bit-sized pieces and got to work.

Directions:

Roll roughly one cup worth of Hampton Creek Just Cookie Dough into bite sized balls. Place in a bowl and chill in the fridge for 10 minutes.

Line your baking sheet with parchment paper, leaving about four inches hanging off the sides.

Bring sugar, butter, and condensed milk to a full rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook for 4 minutes, or until a candy thermometer reads 234 Degrees F. Remove from heat.

Add white chocolate morsels, Puffed Marshmallow Creme, and vanilla. Stir until combined.

Pour 1/2 of the fudge into your parchment paper lined baking sheet. Layer your Hampton Creek Just Cookie Dough balls over the fudge. Add remaining fudge on top.

Let cool completely, and enjoy.

Why I love Just Cookie Dough

I would never have attempted something like this before now. Sure it’s not the healthiest of treats, but it is a heck of a lot healthier than if I put traditional cookie dough in the fudge!

I could only imagine the horror stories of using cookie dough with raw egg and all the other stuff Hampton Creek left out, and people becoming sick. That is my worst fear when handing out goodies during the holidays.

Let’s just say that for the first time in my life, traditional got beat….badly.

Hampton Creek has made my holiday season even more exciting by introducing me to a product that will get me through chick flicks, and the holiday season.

There are so many more things I can do now, and I’m so excited with the range of opportunity at my disposal.

I’m leaving you with this question:

What would you put Just Cookie Dough in?
